COVID-19 Leap – not only digital but also pedagogical

This article offers an overview of how Laurea, a Finnish university Applied Sciences navigated the unprecedented situation with COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. We also share our reflections on support provided to online teaching and learning through lens TPACK, communities practice (CoP), design models. The empirical part describes Laurea supported its academic staff transitioning their online, at same time, introduced new management system. A structure based channels peer played major role success transition. In retrospect, we have learnt importance routine psychological safety, especially these exceptional circumstances. Teachers feel more inclined try out technology methods if there is safe environment learn from one’s earlier experiences experiment methods.
